Angiosarcomas may present as solitary lesions with peripheral enhancement as seen on this CT. Although the enhancement is heterogeneous, it is not the dense, globular, and discontinuous enhancement one attributes to hemangiomas (this was a point of potential confusion in times past, before the advent of rapid helical CT).
