Personal Statement
“I practice as a general radiologist with a focus on endocrine and paediatric radiology. I have a special interest in participating in training and education in Radiology. Asia is a highly populated region, but the development of radiology in healthcare has been progressing differently in various countries. This progression is partly hindered by the unavailability of advanced technology and the high cost of hard copies of image-intensive educational materials. On the other hand, computer-related technology and the telecommunications infrastructure are progressing fast and penetrating widely within this region. RadiologyWeb, with its web-based interactive format, is expected to offer Asian radiologists the opportunity for ready access to the useful materials and expert views of large training institutes in the rapidly advancing field of radiology.”
