Case of the Month Rules and Restrictions

1. TO ENTER: No purchase necessary to enter the Case of the Month Contest or receive a prize. All contestants must be a registered member of the Vertibrae, Inc. community sponsoring the contest to qualify. The contest will run from the first business day of each month until the last business day of that month. One Palm handheld will be awarded at the first of each month to a member entering the correct response. If no correct responses are received for that month, no winner will be selected.

2. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: One winner with the correct answer will be chosen at random by Vertibrae staff and will win a Palm handheld. The winner will be notified by email.

3. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Decisions of Contest sponsor as to all matters relating to participation in Contest, selection of winners, and awarding of prizes is final. Contest subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Contest offered to all eligible participants in the United States, but void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Tax liability, if any, is the sole responsibility of the winner. All winners and participants agree to assume the responsibility of any loss, claims, damages, or injuries associated with the acceptance or use of goods awarded. By submitting an entry, you accept to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Vertibrae staff, whose decisions are final. By entering you agree to release Vertibrae, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries from liability of any kind associated with participation in the Contest or acceptance of use of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, biographical information, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The complete list of winners and correct respondents will be available in the Case of the Month section on each respective Vertibrae web site.

4. PRIZES: Winners will receive a Palm handheld. Retail value of the prize is approximately $200. Odds of winning depend on the number of qualifying entries made and posted during the Contest period. No substitutions or transfer of prize. Limit one prize per member or household.

5. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to registered members of the sponsoring Vertibrae community except employees and immediate families of employees of Vertibrae, Inc., their affiliates, sponsors, or advertising agencies. Void wherever taxed, prohibited, or restricted by law. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
